The International Conference on Physics under Synergetic Extreme Conditions held jointly with the Summer School of SECUF is planned to be held once a year in mid to late July. Previous information on this conference is as follows.

The 1st International Conference on Physics under Synergetic Extreme Conditions Held jointly with User Meeting and Summer School has been hold online on July 15-19, 2022, with 51 invited presentations and 17 experimental station presentations scheduled. Among the speakers, 43 were from China and 8 were from USA, Japan, Singapore, Germany, etc., including Prof. Mikhail I. Eremets from Max Planck Institute of Chemistry (first report on near-room temperature superconductivity of H3S, LaH10). During the 5 days of the conference, which involved 10 pages of conference program, the number of online conference scholars was kept around 500, and more than 15,000 hits on the Koushare + IOP live stream. This conference is the first international conference based on the facility. Through the successful holding of the conference, we not only exchange the scientific research progress on physics under synergetic extreme conditions, but also let more domestic and foreign colleagues understand the facility and give advice on the operation of the facility.

The 1st conference (July 15-19, 2022)

The 2nd International Conference on Physics under Synergetic Extreme Conditions held jointly with the Summer School of SECUF was successfully held in Huairou Campus of Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and UCAS International Conference Center on July 18-24, 2023. Adhering to the concept of internationalization of the SECUF, the conference invited 102 speakers from 9 countries and staff from 19 experimental stations of the SECUF to give invited talks, with a total of 122 talks of various types, including 8 theme talks and 19 experimental station introduction talks for the summer school, and 4 plenary session talks and 91 parallel session talks for the academic exchange. The conference attracted more than 350 researchers from home and abroad to attend and visit the SECUF. The conference was generally well received by the delegates, and also publicized the SECUF to users at home and abroad, which is conducive to strengthening academic exchanges and cooperation in physics research based on the integrated extreme conditions, so as to give full play to the operational utility of the SECUF.
